White Balance

I took this photo of the bridge to demonstrate the lines of the railings that point back to the road continuing on. For the White Balance setting I chose sunny since even though some of the picture was in shade the sun was directly facing the camera. The intent of the photograph was to show the warmth of the sun on a cold winter day.

The main content of the picture is the swing. I wanted to demonstrate A peaceful and simplistic theme. I choose manual for the White Balance setting and it adjusted to the view being in some light and some shadow from the trees.

This photo setting was in my backyard by our shed. The White Balance setting was on shady because the trees were blocking most of the sun. The horizontal lines of the shed direct the eye back to the house in the distance. The rule of thirds was incorporated so nothing would be in the center of the photo.
